March 5, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2010-4430
Sometime between 6:50 AM and 3:00 PM March 2, 2010, a residential burglary was committed at 914 Riverside. Unknown person(s) gained entry by kicking in the front door. Once inside, the following items were removed: 1 - DXG Camcorder; 1 - Nikon compact digital camera; 1 - Dell laptop computer with wide screen; 1 - Winchester folding knife; 1 - Smith and Wesson folding knife; 1 - Cubic Zirconium ring and 4 - Playstation II games. Loss is estimated at over $1,100.00.
February 26, 2010 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2010-407
Sometime between January 10th and February 1st, unknown person(s) broke into an enclosed trailer owned by D.R.C.L. Electric which was located at 1357 West Old 40 Highway. The suspect(s) stole a 100 foot extension cord, a GFIC box with cord, 4 rolls of 1/0 wire which equaled 440 feet of wire and 4 red top car batteries. Estimated loss is $1,719.00.
February 19, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2010-3265
Sometime between February 11 and February 14, 2010, a theft occurred at the University United Methodist Church, 1509 S. Santa Fe, when unknown person (s) removed an ANSI 5500 projector and ultra long focus lens from a wall mount in the chapel. Loss is estimated at over $9,900.00.
February 12, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2010-2896
Sometime during the day of February 9, 2010, a residential burglary was committed at 1213 Talley. Unknown person or persons forced open a patio door and entered the residence. Once inside, the following items were removed: 1 - Panasonic 42" flat screen TV; 3 - Cellular telephones; 1 - Panasonic digital video camera; 1 - Panasonic digital camera; 1 - Computer printer; 1 - Smith and Wesson shotgun; 1 Marlin 30-30 rifle; 1 - .22 caliber rifle; 2 - BB guns and $317 cash. Loss and damage is estimated at over $3,100.00.
February 5, 2010 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2010-169
Sometime between January 4, 2010 and January 14, 2010 unknown person(s) broke into 17 RV campers located at Lorenson Industries at 461 East Avenue A. The suspect(s) forced their way into the RV campers causing damage to the doors and stole 7 TV's ranging from 13" to 32" and Emerson DVD player. Estimated loss is $7,000.00.
January 29, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2010-1204
Sometime between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM January 15, 2010, a residential burglary was committed at 114 W. Stimmel. Unknown person or persons entered the residence and removed the following items: 3-Antique silver necklaces, 1-1956 Salina High School class ring, 1-women's gold Rolex watch, 1-Antique gold men's watch, 1-Antique gold women's watch and numerous 1930"s silver dollars. Loss is estimated at $2,500.00
January 22, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2010-1204
Sometime during the night of January 17, 2010, a residential burglary was committed at 509 Yale. Unknown person or persons gained entry by breaking out a window to the front door. Once inside, the following items were removed: 1-Yellow gold wedding band with several small diamonds, 1-Browning 7 mm magnum rifle and 1-Remington 870 shotgun. Loss is estimated at over $1,500.00
January 15, 2010 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2010-113
Sometime between January 7tha and January 9th, 2010 a barn located on the property at 9041 E. Shipton Road was burglarized and numerous items were stolen. Taken during the burglary were 22 gray cattle panels, a silver bunk cattle feeder, a 40 bushel bin from a Baldwin combine mounted to a trailer, a 1947 red in color W4 International tractor, and 2003 Target car trailer with a black frame, wooden bed, chain boxes, and the trailer was equipped with a winch. The total estimated loss from the theft is $14,300.00.
January 8, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2010-178
Sometime between December 31, 2009 and January 3, 2010, a theft occurred at 820 W. Ash. Unknown person or persons took a red 2007 8' X 12' Cargo Express enclosed trailer that was parked in front of the residence. The trailer has diamond plating on both sides and has a National Guard vanity plate on the rear. The trailer contained various electronics, appliances, and other household items. Loss is estimated at over $12,000.00. Below is a picture of a similar trailer.

January 1, 2010 Salina Police Department Case# 2009-32599
Sometime during the night of December 27, 2009 a trailer was taken from the lot at 325 North Santa Fe. The trailer is a 15' aluminum car transport type with removable side fenders. A spare tire is mounted on the jack stand on the tongue. Loss is estimated at $6000.00.
