July 25, 2014, Saline Police Department Case# 2014-19862

Between 11:00 PM on June 16, 2014 and 9:00 AM on June 17, 2014 a vehicle burglary was committed at 2545 Angus.  Unknown person or person(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and removed a brown Louis Vuitton purse, a black Coach wallet, one pair of ½ CT diamond earrings, brown Ray-Ban “Wayfarer” sunglasses, makeup, credit cards and a checkbook. Loss is estimated at $4,059.

July 18, 2014, Saline County Sheriff's Office Case#2014-10847

Sometime between May 24th-May 27th, unknown suspect(s) entered a shop at Swindler Trucking, located at 1301-B West Diamond Drive and stole an aluminum colored California Pro (CP) 3/4" drive air wrench. Estimated Loss & Damages:  $600.00

July 11, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-19936

Between 9:30 PM on June 16, 2014 and 7:30 AM on June 17, 2014 a vehicle burglary was committed at 2519 Blakemoore.  Unknown person or person(s) entered two unsecured vehicles and removed a Dell laptop in a black case, 7” Samsung Tablet in a black case, Canon Rebel camera in a black case, Sony video camera in a black case, a Sprint wireless card and $67 dollars.   Loss is estimated at $2,747.

July 3, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-19486

Between 8:00 PM on June 13, 2014 and 9:30 AM on June 14, 2014 a theft was committed at 805 Hancock.  Unknown person or person(s) removed miscellaneous, military issued, clothing and gear that was left outside the residence.  Loss is estimated at $4,100.

June 27, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-18270

Between 7:00 PM on June 3, 2014 and 5:30 PM on June 4, 2014 a theft was committed in the 1900 Block of S. Ohio St.  Unknown person or person(s) pried open a garage door and several high end remote control (RC) cars and components were taken.  They were described as:  Traxxas model 4910, white, yellow and red gas powered truck; Losi, dirt track style, pink, black and white electric powered car Losi, model XXX-NT, gray and white gas powered stadium truck; Losi, unknown model or color car; Black plastic toolbox containing assorted RC car controllers, motors and starters.  Loss is estimated at $2,200.

June 20, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-11493

Between June 2nd, 7:00 PM-June 3rd, 7:00 AM, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into Assaria Oil and Hardware, located at 104 W Main, Assaria.  Once inside the suspect(s) stole approximately $145 in cash and coins, 20 MK brand lighters, 30 BIC brand lighters, 5 folding pocket knives, 23 Nebo brand flashlights, 30 packs of assorted brands of chewing tobacco, 180 packs of assorted brands of cigarettes, and a Cisco brand wireless router. Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1,895

June 13, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-12828

Between 1:00 AM and 7:56 AM on April 22, 2014 a theft was committed at the Baymont Inn, 1740 W Crawford.  Unknown person or persons removed a black trailer with 3” round tubing frame and a bi-fold lift down gate.  A blue Dixon ZTR riding mower with an aftermarket 17.5hp Briggs & Stratton pull start engine and a 16’ aluminum extension ladder were on the trailer at the time of the theft.   Loss is estimated at $6,220.

June 6, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-17293

Between 4:00 PM on May 23, 2014 and 7:30 AM on May 27, 2014 a burglary was committed at Foley Equipment, 529 N. Broadway.  A pallet containing 21 Cat Group 31 batteries, a skid steer bucket and forks and a pallet containing four-50 gallon drums of Cat oil were taken from the business.  Loss is estimated at $10,307.

May 30, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-5881

Between March 5, 2014 and March 14, 2014, a vehicle parked in the 200 block of King Street, Gypsum, KS, was burglarized.  Items stolen from the vehicle include:  Samsung Galaxy S4 cellular telephone; Samsung Acclaim cellular telephone; Gold women’s engagement ring with one large diamond surrounded by several smaller diamonds; DeWalt 12 volt impact driver and a Gateway laptop computer and green nylon case.  Total loss is estimated at $2,110.00

May 23, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-11897

Between 4:00 PM on April 11, 2014 and 8:50 PM on April 13, 2014 a trailer was taken from Precision Machine and Welding, 2231 Centennial.  The trailer was described as a black 2013 PJ 20’ T6 Equipment / Car hauler Tilt Bed Trailer, bearing KS Tag 530FPF.  Loss is estimated at $5,669.

May 16, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-15706

Between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM on April 22, 2014 a vehicle was entered by unknown means at 2259 S 9th.  A ½” Matco Impact gun with a rechargeable battery and a ¼” Snap On Electric Ratchet set were taken.  Loss is estimated at $1,300.

May 9, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-12675

Between 6:10 PM on April 19, 2014 and 5:42 PM on April 20, 2014 the back door was forced open at ADI Systems, 628 N. Broadway Blvd and the following items were taken:  Green Melink Safe; 2 black and 1 purple Samsung S4 cell phones; 1 white Samsung Galaxy Note 3; 1 black Verizon iPhone 4; 1 black 16 GB 3rd Generation iPod Touch; 1 black 8 GB 2nd Generation iPod Touch; 2 iPad Lifeproof cases; 2 iPad PEPK cases; 1 red Chanel iPad case with gold chain; Miscellaneous phone cases, chargers, photo lens phone attachments, breathalyzer phone attachment; Bennington State Bank business checks; 6”x6” silver digital scale; 50 piece socket set; Black and green torque screw driver set; and $30 dollars. Loss and damage is estimated at $1,800.

May 2, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-7399

On April 13, 2014, between the hours of 2:15 am and 8:00 am, unknown suspect(s) threw a brick through the window of a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier passenger car while it was parked in the parking lot of Outlaws Bar, 1676 West State Street, rural Saline County.  Stolen from the passenger car was: Unknown brand dash stereo single disk stereo with an USB port; Pioneer brand 12” subwoofer in an enclosure; 160 GB Apple ipod and an Unknown brand vehicle battery.  Total loss is estimated at $1,070.00

April 25, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-8035

On April 22nd, sometime between 12:35 PM-5:25 PM, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence located at 6701 W State Street.  Once inside the suspect(s) removed a 42” Phillips flat screen TV, a 60” Sony Vizio flat screen TV, a Samsung Blu Ray DVD player, a Benelli Nova 12 gauge shotgun, a Winchester .22 lever action rifle, a Sony DVD player, Wii gaming console, a E Machine pc computer, a 20” HP computer monitor, a gold band ring, a gold ring with diamonds, a gold ring with a marque diamond solitaire, a Salina Central High School 1992 class ring, and a gold Canyon bag with a jewel design.   Estimated Loss & Damages:  $5310.00

April 18, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-11932

Between 7:00 PM on April 12, 2014 and 8:25 AM on April 14, 2014 a phone line was cut at Cleve’s Marine and Sporting Goods, 136 S Broadway.  Entry was gained through a hole that was made in the garage door on the back side of the building.  Once inside four padlocks were cut on a metal cage securing the gun area.  Approximately 115 semi-automatic handguns, large caliber revolvers, AK and AR semi-automatic rifles and a large amount of ammunition were taken, as well as, several tactical firearm lights, ten pocket knives and a small amount of cash.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $50,000.

April 11, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-6855

Between 9:00 PM on March 2, 2014 and 3:25 AM on March 3, 2014 an unsecured vehicle was entered at 2130 E. Crawford.  A fully loaded Kel-Tec PF 9mm semi auto pistol and a Hewlett Packard laptop were taken.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $1,300.

March 28, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-5904

On March 24th, between 8:30 AM-6:00 PM, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence located at 6220 E Stimmel Road.  Suspect(s) removed a Sony Vizio 32” flat screen TV, a Sharp LED 40” flat screen TV, a Smith & Wesson 40 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a Ruger 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a Marlin 1845 lever action .45 caliber long colt rifle with a rope and horse engraved on gold plate, a H&R single shot shotgun, and a bag of Wilson golf clubs in a red & white golf bag.   Estimated Loss & Damages:  $7150.00

March 21, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-7151

Between 1:50 AM and 2:00 PM on March 5, 2014 forced entry was used to commit a residential burglary at 222 S 10th St.  The following items were taken:  Panther Arms .223 AR-15; Mossberg Model 88 12 gauge shotgun; Unknown brand .45 ACP 1911 style pistol; Play station 3 with 12 games; 8 Blu-ray movies, 15 DVD’s; 4 swords; 2 daggers and 4 knives.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $2,590.00.

March 14, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-7785

Between 12:00 AM and 7:40 AM on March 11, 2014 forced entry was used to commit a vehicle burglary at 317 Scott.  The following items were taken:  Heritage Rough Rider .22 six-shot revolver; Winchester Model 94 .22 lever action rifle with a Bushnell scope; Marlin .22 bolt action rifle; 10” Kicker subwoofer in a wooden box; Men’s brown leather wallet with miscellaneous cards and $31.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $1,000.

March 7, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-3901 and 2014-4416

Between February 24th and March 5th, 2014 unknown person(s) burglarized two different locations in the City of Gypsum, one being in the 500 block of King Street and the other in the 500 block of Maple Street. Taken in these burglaries were the following items: PlayStation 2 console with games, Game Boy console with games, Nintendo DS console with games, Skil portable drill with battery, Samsung Surround System, DeWalt cutoff saw, 150 piece aircraft drill bit set, 24 piece combination wrench set, 12” and 18” bolt cutters and a circular saw. Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1,725.00.

February 28, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-6514

Between 8:00 AM on February 24, 2014 and 10:36 AM on February 27, 2014 a burglary was committed at the Natural Resource Conservationist Office, 760 S Broadway.  Two trailers, secured to pickups parked in the south west corner of the parking lot, were stolen.  A lock was cut from one of the trucks and the hitch was removed from the second truck.  The first trailer is a white 2004 H&H 6’x10’ trailer containing a green 2003 Suzuki 4X4 ATV, US Gov. Tag AG2502, two Trimax survey legs and two bipod survey legs.  The second trailer is a white 2006 Haulmark 6’x10’ trailer containing a camouflage 2011 Kawasaki 4X4 ATV, US Gov. Tag AG2497, as well as miscellaneous items used for surveying.  An ATV cover and a set of ramps were also taken.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $18,900.

February 21, 2104 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-5601

Between 3:30 PM and 7:48 PM on February 18, 2014 a residential burglary was committed at 442 Putnam.  The unsecured residence was entered and numerous items were taken.  Among the items taken were a Sansi 60” flat screen LED TV, Playstation 3 video game system with two controllers, five Playstation 3 games and several DVD’s.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $2,500.

February 14, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-433

Sometime between January 2nd-7th, unknown suspect(s) removed approximately 250 feet of 10-2 gauge copper wiring from a disassembled irrigation pivot located in the 500 block of East Sundgren Road.  The wire was insulated in black plastic approximately 1 ½” to 2” thick.   Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1500.00

February 7, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-665 & 2014-3764

Sometime between January 6, 2014 and February 3, 2014, on two separate occasions, two Optiplex, Model 7010 computer towers were stolen from Room 129 in Peters Hall at Kansas Wesleyan University, 100 E Claflin.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $1,800.

January 31, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-2451

Sometime between 11:00 PM on January 16, 2014 and 7:00 AM on January 17, 2014, an aggravated residential burglary was committed at 643 Briarcliff.  Unknown person or persons entered an unsecured, attached garage and took a Targus back pack which contained a Lenovo Think Pad model L420 Computer from a vehicle in the garage.  Loss and damage is estimated at $1,000.

January 24, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-1342

Between the late evening hours of January 20, 2014 and the morning of January 21, 2014, a vehicle parked in the 600 block of N. Palmer Street, in Brookville, was burglarized.  Items stolen from the vehicle include: Nikon laser range finder; Camouflaged backpack; D cell flashlight; (50) round box of Hornady .17HMR ammunition; Ruger model 77 .223 caliber rifle with a green laminate stock and Sightron scope attached; Walther model P22 .22 caliber handgun; Savage model 93R17 .17HMR rifle with a 9x40 scope attached.  Total loss is estimated at $1,560.00

January 17, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-822

Sometime between 8:45 AM and 6:00 PM on January 8, 2014, a residential burglary was committed at 329 N Kansas.  Unknown person or persons forcibly entered the residence and removed numerous items.  Among the items taken were a ceramic knife, a buck knife in a sheath, trail cam, Go Pro cam, digital camera, three $2 bills, three $50 silver certificates, miscellaneous antique coins, three pearl necklaces, pearl bracelet, charmed memories bracelet, diamond tennis bracelet, pinky ring with five stones, titanium wedding band, diamond necklace, channel ring, pocket watch and several other miscellaneous necklaces and rings.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $5,690.

January 10, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-463

Sometime between 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM on January 5, 2014 a vehicle burglary was committed at 1322 Prospect.  Unknown person or persons entered an unsecured vehicle and took a Browning BAR semi automatic, 7mm rifle, with a Leupold Scope and a camouflage nylon sling.  Total loss is estimated at $1,000.

January 3, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2013-23738

Sometime between December 3rd and 4th, unknown suspect (s) forced entry into a residence located at 1940 South Lightville Road.  The suspect (s) stole  several zebra print jewelry boxes, a set of Bangle brand bracelets, a zebra print Jimmy Crystals watch, a 32” Sony flat screen TV, a Craftsman tool bag with miscellaneous hand tools, a blue HP laptop computer, and a DeWalt 18V impact drill.  Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1570
