April 18, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-11932

Between 7:00 PM on April 12, 2014 and 8:25 AM on April 14, 2014 a phone line was cut at Cleves Marine and Sporting Goods, 136 S Broadway.  Entry was gained through a hole that was made in the garage door on the back side of the building.  Once inside four padlocks were cut on a metal cage securing the gun area.  Approximately 115 semi-automatic handguns, large caliber revolvers, AK and AR semi-automatic rifles and a large amount of ammunition were taken, as well as, several tactical firearm lights, ten pocket knives and a small amount of cash.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $50,000.

April 11, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-6855

Between 9:00 PM on March 2, 2014 and 3:25 AM on March 3, 2014 an unsecured vehicle was entered at 2130 E. Crawford.  A fully loaded Kel-Tec PF 9mm semi auto pistol and a Hewlett Packard laptop were taken.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $1,300.

March 28, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-5904

On March 24th, between 8:30 AM-6:00 PM, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence located at 6220 E Stimmel Road.  Suspect(s) removed a Sony Vizio 32 flat screen TV, a Sharp LED 40 flat screen TV, a Smith & Wesson 40 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a Ruger 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a Marlin 1845 lever action .45 caliber long colt rifle with a rope and horse engraved on gold plate, a H&R single shot shotgun, and a bag of Wilson golf clubs in a red & white golf bag.   Estimated Loss & Damages:  $7150.00

March 21, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-7151

Between 1:50 AM and 2:00 PM on March 5, 2014 forced entry was used to commit a residential burglary at 222 S 10th St.  The following items were taken:  Panther Arms .223 AR-15; Mossberg Model 88 12 gauge shotgun; Unknown brand .45 ACP 1911 style pistol; Play station 3 with 12 games; 8 Blu-ray movies, 15 DVDs; 4 swords; 2 daggers and 4 knives.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $2,590.00.

March 14, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-7785

Between 12:00 AM and 7:40 AM on March 11, 2014 forced entry was used to commit a vehicle burglary at 317 Scott.  The following items were taken:  Heritage Rough Rider .22 six-shot revolver; Winchester Model 94 .22 lever action rifle with a Bushnell scope; Marlin .22 bolt action rifle; 10 Kicker subwoofer in a wooden box; Mens brown leather wallet with miscellaneous cards and $31.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $1,000.

March 7, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-3901 and 2014-4416

Between February 24th and March 5th, 2014 unknown person(s) burglarized two different locations in the City of Gypsum, one being in the 500 block of King Street and the other in the 500 block of Maple Street. Taken in these burglaries were the following items: PlayStation 2 console with games, Game Boy console with games, Nintendo DS console with games, Skil portable drill with battery, Samsung Surround System, DeWalt cutoff saw, 150 piece aircraft drill bit set, 24 piece combination wrench set, 12 and 18 bolt cutters and a circular saw. Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1,725.00.

February 28, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-6514

Between 8:00 AM on February 24, 2014 and 10:36 AM on February 27, 2014 a burglary was committed at the Natural Resource Conservationist Office, 760 S Broadway.  Two trailers, secured to pickups parked in the south west corner of the parking lot, were stolen.  A lock was cut from one of the trucks and the hitch was removed from the second truck.  The first trailer is a white 2004 H&H 6x10 trailer containing a green 2003 Suzuki 4X4 ATV, US Gov. Tag AG2502, two Trimax survey legs and two bipod survey legs.  The second trailer is a white 2006 Haulmark 6x10 trailer containing a camouflage 2011 Kawasaki 4X4 ATV, US Gov. Tag AG2497, as well as miscellaneous items used for surveying.  An ATV cover and a set of ramps were also taken.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $18,900.

February 21, 2104 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-5601

Between 3:30 PM and 7:48 PM on February 18, 2014 a residential burglary was committed at 442 Putnam.  The unsecured residence was entered and numerous items were taken.  Among the items taken were a Sansi 60 flat screen LED TV, Playstation 3 video game system with two controllers, five Playstation 3 games and several DVDs.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $2,500.

February 14, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-433

Sometime between January 2nd-7th, unknown suspect(s) removed approximately 250 feet of 10-2 gauge copper wiring from a disassembled irrigation pivot located in the 500 block of East Sundgren Road.  The wire was insulated in black plastic approximately 1 to 2 thick.   Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1500.00

February 7, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-665 & 2014-3764

Sometime between January 6, 2014 and February 3, 2014, on two separate occasions, two Optiplex, Model 7010 computer towers were stolen from Room 129 in Peters Hall at Kansas Wesleyan University, 100 E Claflin.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $1,800.

January 31, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-2451

Sometime between 11:00 PM on January 16, 2014 and 7:00 AM on January 17, 2014, an aggravated residential burglary was committed at 643 Briarcliff.  Unknown person or persons entered an unsecured, attached garage and took a Targus back pack which contained a Lenovo Think Pad model L420 Computer from a vehicle in the garage.  Loss and damage is estimated at $1,000.

January 24, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2014-1342

Between the late evening hours of January 20, 2014 and the morning of January 21, 2014, a vehicle parked in the 600 block of N. Palmer Street, in Brookville, was burglarized.  Items stolen from the vehicle include: Nikon laser range finder; Camouflaged backpack; D cell flashlight; (50) round box of Hornady .17HMR ammunition; Ruger model 77 .223 caliber rifle with a green laminate stock and Sightron scope attached; Walther model P22 .22 caliber handgun; Savage model 93R17 .17HMR rifle with a 9x40 scope attached.  Total loss is estimated at $1,560.00

January 17, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-822

Sometime between 8:45 AM and 6:00 PM on January 8, 2014, a residential burglary was committed at 329 N Kansas.  Unknown person or persons forcibly entered the residence and removed numerous items.  Among the items taken were a ceramic knife, a buck knife in a sheath, trail cam, Go Pro cam, digital camera, three $2 bills, three $50 silver certificates, miscellaneous antique coins, three pearl necklaces, pearl bracelet, charmed memories bracelet, diamond tennis bracelet, pinky ring with five stones, titanium wedding band, diamond necklace, channel ring, pocket watch and several other miscellaneous necklaces and rings.  Loss and damage is estimated at over $5,690.

January 10, 2014 Salina Police Department Case# 2014-463

Sometime between 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM on January 5, 2014 a vehicle burglary was committed at 1322 Prospect.  Unknown person or persons entered an unsecured vehicle and took a Browning BAR semi automatic, 7mm rifle, with a Leupold Scope and a camouflage nylon sling.  Total loss is estimated at $1,000.

January 3, 2014 Saline County Sheriff's Office Case# 2013-23738

Sometime between December 3rd and 4th, unknown suspect (s) forced entry into a residence located at 1940 South Lightville Road.  The suspect (s) stole  several zebra print jewelry boxes, a set of Bangle brand bracelets, a zebra print Jimmy Crystals watch, a 32 Sony flat screen TV, a Craftsman tool bag with miscellaneous hand tools, a blue HP laptop computer, and a DeWalt 18V impact drill.  Estimated Loss & Damages:  $1570
